July 13,2009

hey every one-
well this week was a really slow week with transfers and all we didn't get a ton done but we did some great things. We talked to the kummer/Brown family and we got some really sad news. The kids went to Utah for all of July to see there dad and step mom and they found out that the oldest has been having really high blood pressure (not normal for a 10yr old boy) so they decided to have all the kids stay out there to be close to a hospital. They just moved out here not to long ago and they really loved being in a small town so they could play with Friends out side without the parents getting to worried that some one will hurt them. So there mom is getting ready to pack up there house and move out there with the kids. They are the biggest fellowship family for our investigators the browns. Then yesterday we had to leave some food at the church building that some one brought to us. We had two appointments after church so we didn't want them to be left in our members car. So when we got home we got our car and drove down to the church to find out that some one took our Cinnamon rolls, But they left our enchilada's(We are going to get who ever took them back). After that we went to see some families and we got Kristina brown at home for once and set up an appointment to teach them and get them with a date in Aug instead of there broad date in Aug. We are so excited to see them and get them closer to Christ. We had the biggest hardest working day Saturday, We loaded up some saws and tools in President Chandlers trailer and hooked up to the tractor and headed for a older lady's house in the branch (about 15miles each way going about 25mph) Which is top speed for his tractor. We got there about 11pm and didn't stop cutting wood still about 7pm with only a 1hr break. We had his whole trailer full except two spots for my comp and I to sit down inside. (Three men who love to work hard never plan out the day correctly) We forgot water and food for us, we forgot about driving a dusk(a tractor cant hook up lights to a trailer) So as we drove home we got stopped by A police officer for having no taillights but he was nice to give us a warning and escort us home with his lights going behind him. That was are excitement for the week. Hope you all get a little laughter out of something here. ITS MY BIRTHDAY FRIDAY SO FEEL FREE SEND STUFF TO ME FOR THAT!Elder Phelps
